What happens when you book a porta potty?

Booking a porta potty takes about 5 minutes. You give the address, dates, unit type and headcount. You get an itemized quote, approve it, and pay by card. A confirmation with the delivery date and order notes arrives by text and email. Changes are free up to 24 hours before delivery.

When does the porta potty get delivered?

Porta potties are delivered Monday through Saturday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The driver calls or texts about 30 minutes before arriving. An exact time cannot be promised because routes change during the day. Event units arrive the day before the event; Sunday events are delivered Saturday or Friday.

Where should you place the unit, and what about gates?

Place the unit on level ground within about 15 feet of where a pickup truck can park. A standard unit needs a 48-inch path; an accessible unit needs 64 inches. Mark the spot with a cone, stake or ribbon, and put gate codes, low wires, dogs and parked cars in the order notes.

  • Nobody needs to be home for delivery.
  • Slopes are fine if gentle; steep lake lots may need a flat pad or plywood.
  • We are not responsible for ruts in soft lawns after heavy rain; driveways and gravel are safer in spring.
  • If the driver cannot reach the marked spot, they call you before choosing another.

How often is the porta potty cleaned?

Rentals of 28 days are cleaned once a week on a set service day. The technician pumps the tank, scrubs the seat, walls, floor and urinal, adds fresh deodorizer, and restocks paper and sanitizer. Event rentals arrive clean and fully stocked and normally need no visit. Extra visits can be added anytime.

How do you extend or end a rental?

To extend a 28-day rental, do nothing: it renews automatically with weekly service. To end it, call or text 2 business days before you want pickup. Billing stops on the pickup date. Event rentals are picked up on the date in your order, usually the next business day after the event.

Keep planning:

Questions renters ask

Do they call ahead when they're coming?

The driver calls or texts about 30 minutes before arrival. Answer that call so any gate or placement questions get settled on the spot.

Should I put a stake in the ground before he shows up if I'm not there?

A stake, cone or ribbon on the exact spot is the best way to get the unit where you want it when you are away.

Can it go behind a gate if we leave the combination?

Units can go behind a locked gate when the code is in the order notes and the opening is at least 48 inches.

If it's not in the right place, can you move it?

Moving a unit on the same property after delivery is possible; it is quoted as a short service trip.

Are we liable if somebody damages it?

Normal wear and job-site dirt are expected. Fire, vandalism or tipping the unit is billed at repair cost. Locking it at night helps.
