How does an event porta potty rental work?
An event porta potty rental is one flat price for up to 5 days on site, with delivery and pickup included. For a Saturday party, the unit arrives Thursday or Friday and leaves Monday. Units come clean and fully stocked, so short events need no service visit.
Delivering a day early means the unit is in place even if the truck runs late, and nobody is waiting on a driver while guests arrive.
How many porta potties do you need for a party of 100?
A party of 100 guests lasting 4 hours needs 2 standard porta potties. Add 1 unit if alcohol or a full meal is served, for 3 total. A party of 50 guests needs 1 unit. Add 1 wheelchair-accessible unit if any guest uses a wheelchair or walker.
Event math: 1 unit per 50 guests per 4 hours, +1 per 5 units with alcohol or food. Job math: OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51 Table D-1. Accessible share: 2010 ADA Standards 213.2.
Do Jefferson City festivals and races need a permit for porta potties?
Parades, races and festivals on public streets in Jefferson City need a special event permit from the Jefferson City Police Department. The application asks where portable restrooms will be placed and how trash and cleanup are handled. Events on private land generally do not need a permit for the toilets themselves.

Where should event porta potties be placed?
Place event porta potties on level ground 50 to 100 feet from food and seating, downwind if possible, with a clear path lit after dark. Group them so guests see one restroom area. Put hand-wash stations in front of the row and the accessible unit closest to parking.

Questions renters ask
I only need it for one day, not the whole weekend.
Event pricing is the same flat rate for one day or up to 5. You pay for the unit, not the days, and the extra days cover delivery and pickup scheduling.
The party starts at 11. What time is drop-off?
Drop-off is the day before your party, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The driver calls about 30 minutes ahead. Nobody has to be home.
Can you pick it up Sunday night?
Pickups run Monday through Saturday. Sunday events are picked up Monday, at no extra charge.
Is it normal to have just one, or do you need a men's and a women's?
One unit is normal for 50 guests. For 75 to 100 guests, two units let you label one men's and one women's.
We're a church. Can you invoice us and is it tax-exempt?
Churches, schools and nonprofits can send a Missouri sales tax exemption letter and the tax comes off the invoice. Ask about invoicing when you call.
How much is a porta potty for a party?
A standard event porta potty starts at $175 in Jefferson City, delivery and pickup included, for up to 5 days. Deluxe units start at $275.
