What is a restroom trailer and when is it worth it?
A restroom trailer is a towable building with separate stalls, porcelain flushing toilets, vanity sinks, mirrors and lights. It is worth it for weddings, receptions and VIP areas with 100 or more dressed-up guests, or any event longer than 6 hours. One 2-station trailer serves about 150 guests over an evening.
What does a restroom trailer need on site?
A restroom trailer needs a level spot about 8 by 16 feet, a standard 110-volt, 20-amp outlet within 100 feet for lights and pumps, and a garden hose connection for fresh water. A truck needs clear access to back it in. Without a hose, we fill the onboard fresh tank before the event.
- Ground: level within a few inches front to back; we level it with jacks and blocks.
- Access: an 11-foot-wide path with no low branches or wires under 13 feet.
- Power: a generator works if the venue has no outlet; ask before you book.
- Season: trailers are not set below freezing without a heated, winterized unit.
Restroom trailer or deluxe porta potties?

The 2-station trailer has two separate stalls with their own doors and signs, so one can be men's and one women's. Each stall has a toilet, sink and mirror.
Is it air-conditioned?
Our trailers have roof vents and fans with LED lighting. Ask about a climate-controlled unit for July and August evenings, when Jefferson City highs average 88°F.
How far ahead should I book a restroom trailer?
