How many restrooms does a wedding need?
A wedding of 150 guests over 5 hours with a bar needs 7 standard porta potties, or 4 deluxe flushing units, or one 2-station restroom trailer plus 1 accessible unit. The math: 150 ÷ 50 = 3 units per 4 hours, times 2 four-hour blocks for 5 hours = 6, then add 1 for the bar = 7.

Restroom trailer or deluxe porta potties for a wedding?
Pick a restroom trailer when the venue has a 110-volt outlet and a hose within 100 feet and you have 100 or more guests. Pick deluxe flushing porta potties for barns, fields and vineyards without power, or for fewer than 100 guests. Both include sinks, so guests never walk to a separate station.
When should wedding restrooms be booked and delivered?
Book wedding restrooms 4 to 8 weeks ahead for May, June, September and October Saturdays, and 3 months ahead for restroom trailers. Units are delivered Thursday or Friday and picked up Monday. Mark the spot with the venue on a site map so the driver places them right the first time.

Weddings usually get deluxe flushing units with sinks and mirrors, or a 2-station restroom trailer with porcelain toilets, vanities and lights.
Should I get an attendant?
An attendant is worth it for 200 or more guests or events over 6 hours. The attendant restocks paper and soap and keeps the area tidy. Ask for a quote.
Can we hide them?
Pipe-and-drape screening or placing units behind the barn works. Keep them within 200 feet of the reception and on a lit path.
How much are wedding restrooms?
Deluxe flushing units start at $275 each and a 2-station restroom trailer starts at $995 for the weekend in Jefferson City. Distance to rural venues is added on the quote.
