What should you know about delivery and placement in California?
Farm deliveries in Moniteau County often mean gravel lanes and pasture gates. A pickup and small trailer can handle most gates 10 feet wide or more; give us the gate code or leave it open. Pasture placements need a firm, level spot near the gate. Avoid low ground by creeks after heavy rain, when trucks can rut the field.
For fair or tractor-pull weekends, book by early July; the county fair week fills our Moniteau routes.
What do people in California rent porta potties for?
California is the Moniteau County seat and a farm town, so renters include poultry and livestock operations, agricultural building projects and county fair vendors. The Moniteau County Fair in late July is the biggest event week of the year. Portable toilet, porta john or job site toilet: every name gets the same unit and the same itemized California quote. Compare a construction rental, an event rental or wedding restrooms.
What does a typical California porta potty order look like?
Example (hypothetical): A poultry barn build with 14 workers plus a farm crew of 10: OSHA job site math gives 1 unit for the 14 builders, and OSHA 1928.110 adds 1 toilet and 1 hand-wash station for the 10 field workers, set within a quarter-mile walk.
Plug your own guest or crew count into the porta potty calculator to check the math.
When is porta potty season busiest in California?
California's busiest week is the Moniteau County Fair in late July. Farm and barn-building orders run March through November, and harvest crews add demand in September and October. Book 2 to 4 weeks ahead for those dates; weekday job site orders usually need only a day's notice.
Do you need a permit for a porta potty in California?
Farm work crews fall under OSHA 1928.110: 1 toilet and 1 hand-wash facility per 20 field workers within a quarter-mile walk. Placement on a California city street needs approval from California City Hall. A porta potty on private property in California needs no permit for the toilet itself, but HOAs, venues and event organizers can set their own placement rules, so ask them first.
For Moniteau County job sites, OSHA 1926.51 sets the minimum: 1 toilet for up to 20 workers, then 1 seat and 1 urinal per 40.
